I worked on redesigning an infant warming pad to be used in University College Hospital, Ibadan in Nigeria. The pad would mainly be used with infants undergoing abdominal surgery.

Existing body warmers are too expensive for the hospital to use. Our design needed to be cheap, sterilizable and iodine resistant.

The whole warming pad consists of two separate cases joined by a hinge, a power supply and a user interface box where the controls were kept.
